Machining Capabilities:

Argus' Programming Department uses Mastercam CAD/CAM programming software. These applications allow us to custom program or transfer customer data directly to the CNC machining centers on the shop floor.

Our broad range of conventional and CNC manufacturing equipment allows us to tackle a variety of projects from 10 to 10,000 pieces. Argus has the means and know how to get the job done, with the following available equipment.

 

Turning Machine

Turning/Threading:

  • CNC Lathes for diameters from 3/8” to 30”
  • Hollow Spindle ranging from 4” to 22" O. D.
  • Engine lathes with up to 36” O. D. swing
 
Milling Machine

Milling:

  • Horizontal CNC machining centers with 4th axis, twin pallets and high speed machining capabilities
  • Vertical CNC machine centers with 4 axis
  • Conventional milling machines

 
 
Grinding Machine

Grinding:

  • Studer cylindrical grinders
  • Surface grinders

 
 
Deep Hole Drilling and Boring Machines

Drilling:

  • Two d eep hole drilling and boring machines with up to 6 ¾” O.D
  • 10” long Carlton radial arm drill press

 
 
Pressure Welding Services

Welding:

  • MIG and TIG welding capabilities
  • Certified “B” pressure welders on staff

 
 

Other:

  • Vertical slotter
  • 6'' - 24'' Diameter
