Pigging Valve News
In early 2009 Argus expanded the pigging valve product line size range to include 10 inch and 12 inch valves. Initially available in ANSI 300 and 600 pressure classes it is our intention to include 900 and 1,500 ANSI flanged connections as well.

With the expansion of the size range came a complete overhaul of the larger diameter sizes.
Now 8 inch through 12 inch valves are available in bolted body construction with a redesigned top cap configuration that makes pigging safer and easier than it has ever been before.
Other design enhancements include an integral pressure equalization line which enables the operator to introduce upstream pressure into the valve body when the valve is in the closed position. By equalizing the pressure between the flow line and the valve body you minimize torque requirements for ease of operation, extend ball and seat life and also minimize wear and tear on your pigging devices.
Lifting lugs are part of the enhancements making handling and installation safer and easier.
